How could the French not expect the Germans to push through Belgium around the Maginot line or rather, why were French defenses near the Belgian border so inadequate?
Not here for any sort of debate, just would love to get some information and perspectives!

2021.11.30 09:51 jimPickens0 First time (18M)
Hi all, so at the weekend I'm probably going to have sex for the first time. Me and my bf have been quite busy lately so we haven't had lots of opportunities. Also I've been waiting until I was ready as that was really important for me. My bf has been so kind and patient about it and I finally am ready.
So can anyone give some tips on all things like prep/sex/post sex. For instance I have a douche but I don't know how long before / for how long I should use it for the best results etc. Also if you could suggest some general sex tips that would make things as easy as possible. I have some ideas but obviously the first time will likely just be getting used to how things work and taking our time...
Also any positions or techniques that you would recommend to really keep things interesting or blow his mind would be great. We are both verse if that helps so will likely do a bit of everything anyway. We've said about keeping it fairly vanilla to start with but round 2/3+ we might experiment with a few things.
But yeh if you have any advice from things that have/haven't worked well for you in the past or even for your first time it'd be greatly appreciated just so I am as prepared as I can be, thank you x

2021.11.30 09:51 klingdaddy Morning routine?
So ive been doing lots of research on dos and donts for my back pain/sciatica, but it seems like everything is forbidden first thing in the morning. No walking, stretching or laying etc...
What do you do for the first hour of the day? Any suggestions for a morning routine?
Thanks in advance :)

2021.11.30 09:51 SwagMasterBDub I tried chicken tikka masala for the first time
It was just a frozen meal, but it was really good. I'm a pretty picky eater, hence trying just the frozen meal to start, didn't want to be left with a pile of food that I didn't want.
I've been on a weight loss "journey" (I kinda hate calling it that, but it seems the prevailing phrase) and part of changing my eating habits has been trying new things so that I don't get stuck with just the same stuff over and over again as I eat less of the stuff that really contributed to my weight gain (I'm looking at you, fettuccini alfredo.)
I'll definitely be trying other brands & non-frozen meal versions. I live in a very rural area & don't know how many options I'll have to choose from, but even just the frozen stuff was good enough to have from time to time.

2021.11.30 09:51 No_imagination_today Need to get out of Dog Grooming
Hi all! I’ve been a dog groomer going on 4 years and I’m looking to transition to a work from home position.
Leaving dog grooming due to unrealistic expectations, desire for change, and some compounding health issues (31 with the back and wrists of a 90 year old). Currently make about 70k and would like to stay somewhere near this.
I would like to work from home as I think this would be best for my health and was wondering where to look for work. Prior to grooming I worked a variety of office jobs and I hold BA degree in philosophy.
I realize I will probably need to invest in education in a new area.
Any suggestions are welcome!

2021.11.30 09:51 soft-curls Somewhat of a sweatfleece newbie… do colors get restocked or are they strictly seasonal?
I ordered a pair of Seagrass Green sweatpants in the spring and wanted to get a matching top now, but noticed the selection for that color is limited at this point. Will this (or other colors) be restocked or are they usually only available during their season and that’s it?
Does anyone mix and match their sweatfleece and if so do you have any suggestions? I was thinking of going with a Heather Oatmeal top for the green pants but it’s so hard trying to match online! Idk if it’ll look ok or not.

2021.11.30 09:51 thinkbeforereplying Functionality is an underrated value. It may be the most important.
Truth, love, compassion, honor etc are all important values. But I feel we don’t talk about functionality enough and I’ll expound on why I feel it’s important and what might change if we were to reorient ourselves in relation to it.
I used to believe truth to be the highest value and in some sense I do. But for example while in some conversations I am honest about my doubts regarding the existence of an afterlife, when someone asks me after they’ve lost someone recently, I tend to respond more affirmatively to the idea of an afterlife.
Because in that moment that person needs to hear that to give them hope and a reason to live well despite the tragedy and suffering of life. In that moment I’m willing to sacrifice the truth of how I personally feel to the functionality of the present circumstances.
And I’ve noticed that virtually every value is always challenged by the reality of what works. It’s a common theme in storytelling. It’s a common theme in life. When it comes right down to it, it’s all about what serves functionality across time. What works and what will allow things to continue to work.
I feel this lense through which to view things is important for discourse. The most important questions tend to be 1. Does it work? And 2. Is it sustainable across time?
